With Mag abit under the weather :( I decided to try the longboard again in the westerly(offshore) and rigged as yesterday and wobbled away from the Dip at midday heading first up the Deben turning at Bawdsey beach to check out the flat flatwater behind the shingle bar. Sadly the wind was very light here so I headed down the coast 2/3 miles to the wadgate post, the wind increased the further I sailed and the beat was great in the straps makng good progress. On turning I could sail really broad back and it was great fun and I was the only one out !!! I was having such a nice time I did this trip 4 times in total being out over 3 hours :) The best run was the last when I raced 2 cats from Felixstowe ferry, they just beat me to the Wadgate post but I could outsail them on the reach back:) So nearly a 5 star session just needed a fraction more wind and some sunshine !!!
